About

Hey there, I’m Nikki, a UX Designer and Researcher based in Austin, Texas. I’m currently pursuing my Master of Science in Information Studies at the University of Texas at Austin, where I concentrate in Human-Computer Interaction. I’m interested in how we can make design human-centered, accessible, and intuitive.

I’m currently collaborating with Essent Guaranty’s Customer Experience & Innovation (CX&I) team, where I focus on refining product designs to create intuitive, user-centered experiences. I translate user and stakeholder feedback into actionable design improvements, ensuring that updates not only address real user needs but also align with broader business goals. Before diving into UX, I worked as a Jr. Underwriter, where I honed my analytical skills and developed an eye for detail.

Outside of research and design, I’m a lifelong learner and wanderer. You can usually find me at a coffee shop with a good book, thinking about my next travel destination, or getting lost in an art museum. I also have a not-so-secret habit of constantly scrolling through dog adoption websites (just browsing… for now).
